Childhood & Teen Years

The repeatitive transitions between Israel and Hong Kong shaped Hilly into a one-of-a-kind, wonderful young woman.

Hilly dreamed of a diverse world where people from different backgrounds and fascinating life stories were celebrated for who they were.

KFAR YONA, ISRAEL

Hilly was born in Israel and lived in the country until the age of two, then again at the ages of 6-8 and from the age of 12 throughout the rest of her adult life.

Hilly loved her hometown, Kfar Yona, where she dreamed of building her own home. She enjoyed jogging around town and watching the changing landscape.

During her time growing up in Israel, Hilly attended the "Hadar" primary school and the "Ish Shalom" high school, where she made friends for life and was especially intrigued by the psychology major.

HONG KONG

Due to Benny's field of work (Hilly's father), the family was granted the opportunity to travel the world and live abroad for a considerable part of their lives.

Hilly lived in Hong Kong during the ages of 3-5 and again when she was 8-12, which greatly shaped her unique character.

Growing up in Hong Kong, Hilly enjoyed Sunday morning trips with her family to the Peak, rode all the thrilling rides in Ocean Park, and found interest in various hobbies, including ice skating, kung fu—and even taking inventory at her mom Maggy's art store.

ALWAYS ON THE MOVE

The reoccurring move from country to the next shaped Hilly's character in an unequivocal way.

Hilly fell in love with unique personalities, adhered to diversity as a way of life and always wanted to unravel more of what the world had to offer.

Hilly dreamed of traveling to Hong Kong and experiencing it as an adult, visiting Japan for the first time, and walking the streets of New York, the city of dreams.

In Benny's words: "Hilly was always at the center of life, but simultaneously made sure no one was left on the sidelines."
